DART - DART club focuses on preventing the use of drugs, alcohol and tobacco by encouraging healthy choices.  Membership is open to all ROBMS students.

Cyber Patriot CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program and hosts the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. The competition puts teams in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company.  Teams are given a set of virtual images that represent operating systems and are tasked with finding cyber-security vulnerabilities within the images and hardening the system while maintaining critical services.  Cyber Patriot is open to all students.

Girls Who Code -Girls Who Code offers free after-school programs for girls to join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world. Core values included:Sisterhood, a supportive environment of peers and role models where girls can learn to see themselves as computer scientist; Code - Learn the concepts of loops, variables, conditionals and functions that form the basis for all programming; Impact - work in teams to design computer science impact projects which solve real world problems the girls care about.  Girls Who Code is open to all female students.

Bulldog Buzz - Bulldog Buzz meets to film and edit a video broadcast to highlight all of the wonderful things we do here at ROBMS.  Bulldog Buzz is open to all students grades 6-7-8

Academic Bowl  The Academic Bowl Team welcomes students each year who love a challenge!  Students participate in a county-wide tournament which includes questions that range from knowledge in history, science, literature, current events, and sports, broaden your horizons and step up to the challenge!

After School Assistance - if you are struggling in a core subject -Math, ELA, Science, or Social Studies - you can stay after school to get some extra help.

Bracktones -  Audition for the Bracktones if you like to sing and dance! Auditions are held in the Fall to be a part of this special musical group.

Bulldog City - “There’s No Pity in Bulldog City.”  All students at ROBMS are welcome to join Bulldog City.  If you are really into school spirit, it’s our job to plan all the Pep Rallies.  We work hard to make the Brackman community all that it can be.  This is a club where you come up with ideas, solutions and activities to make life in the middle school enjoyable for all.

Drama Club- aka known as the Bulldog Theatre is an after school activity where in students of all grade levels and abilities are welcome to participate in improve games, theater workshops, stage theory and our spring Musical Production. This year’s show will be “Guys and Dolls Jr.”, made possible with special arrangements by Musical Theater International which will debut on April 27th 2018 at 7 pm and April 28th 2018 at 2 pm and 7 pm. The Drama Club Adviser and Director of the musical is Ms. Patty Clark Brescia, a veteran, stage actor, singer, director and comedienne with over 35 year’s experience in the professional theatre. “Hey kids, let’s put on a show!”

It’s Up To Us - The newly formed club "It's Up to Us" focuses on providing awareness about local issues to our peers. We hold events to raise money for charities that help support the causes that mean the most to us and support our local community.

Jazz Band
: Jazz Band is elite group of talented musicians, and are exposed to fundamentals of jazz music. The Jazz Band is an auditioned-based performance ensemble, that performs in festivals, competitions, and community events throughout the school year. 7th & 8th Grade students are eligible to audition for the Jazz Band. Rehearsals will take place before school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Mornings.

Library Assistants  Our library assistants work in the library during core enrichment, or gym one day a week.  Students book drop books, check students in and out, log in new magazines, restock shelves, put labels on new books and more.  Students can apply at the end of the year to work during 7th and 8th grade

Leaders in Training (LIT)  LIT is a continuation of your membership in fifth grade.  Our focus is on developing your leadership abilities and helping you become a positive role model.

Math League - Math League is open to 7th and 8th grade students.  This club is for students who are great problem solvers and can think outside the box. We meet after school to practice and prepare for the Ocean County Math League contest where we compete with other schools.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) - Students are encouraged to apply for NJHS membership at the end of their 7thgrade year.  This club encourages leadership, reliability, respectfulness, responsibility, citizenship, honesty, scholarship, and service.  All students with an average of 93 or above for their first six quarters of middle school are invited to apply.

Peers Reaching Out to Other Students (PROS) - 6th and 7th grade students may apply for membership in PROS at the end of the school year.  Students will be involved in promoting social and personal development within our school. Members participate in planning and implementing programs which benefit students and families within our community and children worldwide. Students are guided through opportunities which supplement their development of leadership.

Student Council -  Student Council is open to all ROBMS students, to provide community service as well as plan activities to promote school spirit.  We have several themed Spirit Weeks during the school year.

Vocal Ensemble -  Vocal Ensemble is a small singing group of no more than 30 members. We meet before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the whole year and perform in the winter and spring concerts. We also perform for a competition in the spring. Auditions for Vocal Ensemble are held in September; if you love to sing, come try out.

Woodwind Choir: Woodwind Choir is new performance ensemble that will feature 7th & 8th Grade Students who play Flute, Clarinet, and Bass Clarinet. This ensemble will perform as a part of our Winter & Spring Music Department Concerts, as well as functions and events throughout the school year. No audition is needed to participate in the Woodwind Choir. Rehearsals will take place before school on Tuesday Mornings.

Music Club: Music Club is a new and unique opportunity for students to receive extra help in Band & Chorus Classes, as well as expand their musical horizons. Students who participate in the Music Club will be exposed many aspects of music such as: performing a band instrument, singing in the chorus, music technology, and more! The Music Club is a Before School Activity, and is open to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade. Meetings will take place on Thursday and Friday Mornings.
